Cory Gant – President - Norkenzie Christian Church – Eugene
Cory has been volunteering with ACF since 2007. He has been a Ranch Hand, Youth Minister, General Contractor, and is currently a Home Inspector. He is also on the Board of Directors of Grove Christian Camp in Dorena and Boise Bible College in Idaho. He met his wife while at Boise Bible College in the early 90s. They have three boys who were all in college in 2024 and 2025.
Why ACF?
Encouraging young people to pursue full-time ministry by helping them financially just makes sense. College costs a lot! We would like to see all ministry students graduate debt free so as not to be distracted by this financial burden allowing them to focus their energies on serving Jesus and others.

Kathy Cea - Administrative Secretary - Salem
Kathy has been the administrative secretary for ACF since 2008. She worked in the records section of the Oregon State Police for 22 years. She is currently an office assistant for an accounting firm. Kathy also volunteers as an administrative leader for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). Kathy attended Liberty Christian Church in Salem Oregon for most of her life, serving there in a variety of capacities. Kathy enjoys hanging out with her kitties, reading, taking walks outdoors and spending time at the beach.
Why ACF?
It’s an opportunity to use my administrative skills to support students with a desire to pursue full-time ministry. One of Kathy’s favorite verses is: Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things GOD works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Benjamin Wolfe - Stayton Christian Church - Stayton
Benjamin has been volunteering with ACF since 2025. For the past four years, Ben has been working as an elementary school teacher. His prior work experience includes 13 years in Sales and Marketing. Ben graduated from Portland State University in 2007 with his bachelors degree in Marketing. He graduated from Portland State University in 2022 with his Masters Degree in Teaching (k-12). In 2025 he earned his ESOL certificate from University of Oregon.
In Ben’s free time, he enjoys taking road trips and loves relaxing at the Oregon coast.
Why ACF?
I wanted to partner with ACF to help students along their educational journey by supporting them financially and prayerfully. ACF is the right organization to help students enter the Christian Ministry.
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

Nic Sonne - Golf Tournament Director
Nic Sonne has served on the Alexander Christian Foundation since 2017 and is currently the Golf Tournament Director. Nic grew up in Albany, Oregon where he graduated from West Albany High School. He then went on to earn a Bachelors degree from Oregon State University followed by an Associates degree from Chemeketa Community College. He currently works for Clean Water Services as an Engineering Technician.
In 2007, Nic gave his life to Christ and married the love of his life, Alicia. They currently reside in Newberg. In his free time, Nic enjoys hunting, fishing, and of course, golfing.
Why ACF?
There are fewer and fewer students wanting to pursue careers in Christian Ministry each year, so it’s important to encourage and support all that we can, both prayerfully and financially.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Ron Randall - Stayton Christian Church - Stayton
Ron has been sering in ministry for more than 50 years. In addition to his role as Pastor, Ron spent 19 years as a missionary to Mexico. His current role as Associate Minister with Stayton Christian Church, includes discipleship, visitation and occasional preaching. He has a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Theology from Logos Graduate School, Jacksonville, Florida.
Ron and his wife Marta have celebrated 50 years of marriage. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. Ron enjoys fishing and kayaking with Marta.
Ron has served on the ACF Board of Directors since 2013 and believes that Alexander Christian Foundation is a ministry to encourage and financially assist men and women. That, in turn, strengthens the local congregations for preparing God’s people for the work of ministry, at home and abroad. The ACF Scholarship Program is a means to that end.

Mike Andrews - Oakland Church of Christ
Mike Andrews grew up in Wyoming and Nebraska and served as a youth pastor for 22 years out in that area. Following God’s lead has brought him and his wife to Oakland, OR to serve as pastor to the Oakland Church of Christ. The youngest of their 4 kids recently graduated HS and is currently a student at Ozark Christian College. They have loved living in Oregon and enjoy getting out into the trees, finding new waterfalls to visit, and spending time out on the coast whenever they can. The older 3 kids are living and studying in Omaha and Lincoln, NE and always enjoy it when they can come visit!
Mike graduated from Nebraska Christian College and earned an MA in Ministry Leadership from Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, MO. He is passionate about helping disciples make the most of their gifts by provoking potential and equipping them to be effective ambassadors of Jesus’ Kingdom. Mike joined the ACF Directors in 2025.
Why ACF?
Having 3 kids in college at the same time, I know all too well that higher education comes at a cost. I don’t like the thought of great students settling for a less Kingdom focused education just because it’s more affordable and there are more scholarships available for students who aren’t heading to Bible College. ACF is a great way to provide funds that will help local students and their families handle that cost and I’m excited to be a part of such a great group of people working toward that cause.

(1988), and his Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis (1999).

Jo have two children — Micah and Samantha, and the world’s greatest grandson, Calvin. Dr.
Wright is a “confirmed bibliophile” and an avid outdoorsman where he loves to explore God’s
general revelation along with his lifelong obsession with Jesus and special revelation. Those
who know him say he is insatiably curious about just about everything, and that he does not know the meaning of the word bored. -

Dustin Gallup - Northwest Christian Church - Online Pastor
Dustin was one of the first recipients of ACF of Oregon’s scholarships when he attended Boise Bible College in the mid-90s. Since then, he and his wife Heather have served together in full-time ministry throughout the West and currently serve at Northwest Christian Church as the Online Campus Pastor. Their son Judah is a youth pastor in Camarillo, Ca and their daughter, River, is a student at Boise Bible College.
Why ACF?
Serving in ministry is a high calling. The church needs more passionate men and women to serve and lead. I am so thankful for ACF's support that helped me focus on ministry full-time instead of worrying about college debt. My hope is to help support and raise up a new generation of leaders in God's church.
